Here’s my latest style edit and a few fun things thrown in for fall. The weather has definitely cooled down for the season and it’s time to get whatever it is you are missing. You can maybe throw in one or two things that are trending, or pull them front and center in your closet. Chances are good you already own some or all of the “latest and greatest”. Why not increase your cool factor for free?!

Before we get to it, here’s what’s IN this fall & winter…

Western looks - ala Yellowstone - pull out your Frye boots from college and if you own cool southwestern jewelry, now’s the time - also wear/get a cool hat!
Tuxedo evening looks
Mood boosting, bold colors - specifically GREEN, HOT PINK and RED!
Glitz for holiday - shocking, huh? 🙄
Faux fur and faux leather - some is good, and some is not so good - you gotta see the stuff in person, usually…anything sherpa!
Moto jackets return - um, weren’t they big for last fall?
Trench coats - newsflash for Anna Wintour - they’re never not cool….
Equestrian looks - every other fall since the 1970’s I think - loafers, tweed jackets, english countryside - you get it…
Denim - flares, boot cut, wide legs, straight legs - put away your skinnies for awhile
Menswear looks - white shirts under vests! Loafers again…
ANIMAL PRINTS! Why do they even bother with this one? (See Trench Coats above) It’s a neutral, ok? But only one item per ensemble.

A pretty dress for a special Fall wedding. Reviews say it is small in the bust. With a black strappy kitten heel or with boots!

These pretty studs are big enough for a statement without tons of dangly thingies…and pretty with dress above!

Great Ann Taylor pump if you need a replacement. A classic.

An easy ruffle shirt - comfy with great classic style. Comes in the perfect white too.

Green is big - and one of my favorite colors, so I’m in luck! This is in my bag!

A cute three season top that would be great for spring, fall and holidays. I would much rather show my shoulders than my upper arms!

Love this marble tray for a bathroom or kitchen. I have one in both. It’s from Amazon, but comes from a vendor that we carried at Posh.

Another winner from Modern Citizen. It comes in two combinations.

This tray with votives comes in three color combinations. Again, a line that we carried at Posh.

A great LBD. And this one is faux suede, and has pockets. If you are shorter than the 5’11” model, then it’s a much better length too!

Such a fun collection for Christmas. My favorite is the wine glass.

These are gorgeous for fall or for holiday. The set would be pricey but even one mixed in with your own votives would be really special. A beautiful gift for a nature lover.

Love these Sam Edelman loafers. They have rave reviews and come in 30 different colors/finishes.

You know I love Modern Citizen. This is a lighter weight sweater with a little cut out action. Depending on where you live - could be good year round! And it’s now on sale!

I am always looking for pretty silver earrings. I find great gold things 10 - 1. I wear both. At this writing they were also 40% off!

A great desktop notepad - looks nice sitting on your desk and opens up to 200 blank sheets. A great holiday gift too! At this writing it was 20% off!

My friend Cindy Hattersley talked about these boots in her blog - I think they’re great. Comfy with low heels, but have that up to/over the knee look.

These are great for your garden or to look cool on your terrace or deck. I use them in my garden to fill in spots where I’ve lost a plant. (A weekly occurrence.) They also add winter interest to your beds when everything is gone. These are from Ballard Designs, but if you see them locally - get some!

A great rug by Mathilda Goad for Anthro. It’s tufted jute with wool accents. If only I had a place for it?!

Cos has great simple pieces and this one is so nice for the holidays, a wedding, and dare I say it, a memorial service.

Such a fun bag for fall.

These come in all black too. Really good looking and less than 3” heel.

Love quilted jackets. This is a nice oversized collarless one. A perfect avenue for your favorite scarf! And now that puffer coats are a staple, do they ever really go out of style?

I love these soft corduroys for a fall winter neutral look. This is the Maeve Collette pant from Anthro that does nothing but sell. I don’t have a pair yet, but I want to try them.

These cute loafers are reasonable and also come in a dozen combinations.

Such a nice color and weight for fall events, with almost any footwear - booties, boots or heels.

A fun top if you can wear/like ruffles. It’s 60% off too! This works for fall and holiday!

A great cozy dress and look how good-looking the back is! I would wear this three seasons - with sneakers or flats in spring and fall, and with tights and booties in the winter. It comes in the season’s green too.

I just love these. I don’t know what they will look like on my feet, but I’m gonna try them. We lost our Nordstrom so I have to get everything from them online. How cute with jeans. Stay tuned…
