Faves & Finds | Winter Edit

It’s been so long since we took a shopping dive. We were satiated (like my word choice there? 😬) from Christmas - and shopping overload.

But now birthdays are popping up and Spring is right around the corner. And like the little snowdrops, we are peeping up to look at this and that, in the shops and online.

The stores are making us feel that if we don’t have a Valentine’s Day extravaganza going on, we must be losers. But I’m not falling for it. However, let’s see what’s out there, shall we?

If you are doing any freshening up this spring in bedrooms or in a second home on the water, these are a great price and very good looking. I am looking for inexpensive 100% linen drapes and this source may fit the bill. They have solids too but I thought these were so pretty!

I’ve been wanting a dark green bag. I guess I’m still in my green period. Anyway, this one is on sale big time. I love Kate Spade - I like structured bags, so I can find all my Crap important things ….

Now these Lorraine loafers from Sam Edelman have been around for awhile. They come in over 20 colors, with another 10 on sale. While I really love the black patent ones, I like these for a pop of color in spring. Pastels are big for spring. (groundbreaking 🙄 )

This is a great inexpensive from Target. If it was white, we would be trying it for the river house. Great deal for a beach house!

This is a great assortment of tissue and a great deal. It’s 36 colors and 10 sheets per color. You would be set for life for gift wrapping!

This is a favorite. It’s really inexpensive and comes in tons of solids and stripes. Very comfortable and warm. It is a synthetic blend, so it will not last forever. But it is great for wearing at home or to run a quick errand over leggings or jeans. I have three. Turn it inside out when you wash it, to help with any pilling.

Love these wide jeans in the light wash. Not sure if I will like the hem in person. I will embrace the high waisted wide leg jean as long as possible. If you have bigger thighs, this is the way to go.

While we can’t all look like Blair in this photo, we CAN get this cool necklace. If you are taller and have a longer neck - I want you to have this! I will now try to figure out what my version of this look is….It’s so good.

Just a great little spring flat from Ann Taylor.

I love these pants. I’m not cool enough to pull off this look, but I would wear them with a black or white top and/or jacket, and then personally I would wear black flats or white sneaks. These would even work for travel, if they are comfy enough.

What a great versatile top. It’s in the sport section, but you could wear it with jeans or soft flares and sneakers or flats. Great for spring.

What a pretty side table! It comes in a larger size too.

These booties are great and I am waiting patiently for them to go on sale…My current pair have a broken zipper. My guess is these will sell out before they do go on sale, but you never know…

Such a pretty shade of pink - a great spring jacket! I would wear it with a wide leg jean - cream or denim.

Wouldn’t this be a pretty Valentines and/or spring wreath that you would have forever? I love their metal floral pieces and this new one is so pretty.

I’m going a little nutty over the great jackets at Mango lately. This one is no exception. This is always a great spring or fall look with jeans. Love the fringed edges.

I love Sorel footwear and think this is a great all weather bootie. It is a wedge and gives you a little height, with a waterproof suede upper. It is slip on and if it turns out to be as comfortable as it looks….it could be a cool weather travel YES!

This set of bud vases is so nice with this rustic feel. Made of terracotta. Also nice one by one, as a gift for a friend or the hostess with the mostess.

A nice basic suede pump if you need one. Heel less than 3” and price isn’t too bad.

These oval monogrammed soaps are so nice for a powder room or a gift. Even a really special hostess gift.

Such pretty wrapping paper for special spring gifts. Would be pretty for easter, if you wrap anything then, a spring birthday or even bridesmaid’s gifts!

I do not need a puffer coat. But if I needed a shorter jacket, this is the one I would get! I love it and some colors are on sale.

I haven’t used a facial steamer - have you? BUT I think I might start. This is attractive and a nice smaller size and doesn’t break the bank. Seems like if it’s dry enough in my house (even with a humidifier) to crack the caulking on the woodwork………

I am thinking about trying this. The vagus nerve is connected to blood pressure and stress and massaging it can help regulate stress. I hear good things about this brand. It sounds like a good thing!

The most fun readers! And they’re on sale.

Continuing with my green obsession…love this coat. Waiting for it to go on sale…wouldn’t this be great with that green bag up there???

I think this combo is so good looking and under the radar. I would wear it more in the fall, but it won’t be around then. How classy with a black pant or skirt. Even really good with jeans.

Love these fun earrings. Under $40, come in silver and not too humongous…

Another great jacket. I love the blanket stitch on the lapels. Super for late winter into spring. And what a good look as shown!

In no way does it affect your price, and it doesn’t influence my posts.

If I didn’t send you there then, I won’t now!
